What Is 12 Minute Affiliate?

12 Minute Affiliate is a "Done For You" Affiliate marketing system created by Devon Brown.

Devon has devised a system where you load emails that he provides into an autoresponder and promote Clickbank products in one of 3 different niches.

I have to admit that I am a little leery of anything that is "done For You".

I have never found a system that can successfully make money without a lot of hard work.

Who is Devon Brown

I wanted to find out more about Devon Brown so I went over to facebook and started following him there.

I also signed up for a couple of his email lists to see what was going on there.

I also did some online research.

Here's what I found:

Devon is originally from Miami, but grew up in Atlanta.

He attended Georgia Southern University and graduated in 2000 at the age of 20.

By the age of 23 he had to file for bankruptcy after failing in the "Home Business" field.

And then succeeded.

And then failed again.

I feel like I've heard this story before...

The good.

Devon is a really good salesman because he has a likable personality and he is very upbeat.

Seems like Devon is the kind of guy I would like to hang out with, maybe have a beer with, but I'm not sure I trust him.

The bad.

Devon is very salesy.

Is that a word? 

Every time I watch a video, I feel like I'm watching a used car salesman.

I've also found that almost all of his emails are promotional, there is very little value added.

Products that Devon Has Created

I had never heard of Devon Brown until I started hearing about 12 Minute Affiliate, but he has created other products as well.

All "Done For You" Internet Money Machines.

• Web Copy Cat - It seems that Web Copy Cat was very similar to 12 Minute Affiliate. You would sign up for an Aweber account, submit your Aweber login info to Devon's team and they would set up everything. Then buy traffic from Web Copy Cat. Sound familiar?
• The Easiest System Ever - Next came the Easiest System Ever. This product is another "done for you" that teaches you how to "instantly" sell products on Amazon and Ebay.
• 12 Minute Affiliate - Devon's third product that is reviewed here.

Let's take a look at how 12 Minute Affiliate Works

How Does 12 Minute Affiliate Work?

After purchasing the system, you create your accounts and then load the pre-made emails into your autoresponder.

Activate the premade funnels.

Order traffic from Devon.

And your off and running.

You are supposed to be able to do it in 12 Minutes and I can vouch for that after setting up my system.

You will see me setting up each step of the system below in my Inside Look.

The traffic runs through your funnel, which starts with the landing pages that are provided by 12 Minute Affiliate.

They optin to your list and the emails supplied by Devon are drip fed to your subscriber with affiliate offers.

Once everything is set up, you can sit back and cash your checks from Clickbank.

Sounds easy enough.

Let me tell you how I found 12 Minute Affiliate and why I joined.

I heard a buzz going around about 12 Minute Affiliate and wanted to find out more about it.

I headed over to Clickbank and looked in the marketplace and found that 12 Minute Affiliate was the top ranked product both in Popularity and in Gravity.

That means that a lot of affiliates were promoting it and it also means that affiliates are making sales.

That could be a sign that it is a good product or it could be that it is a really well marketed product.

The next thing that I did, was to reach out to their affiliate support and I asked them for review access, so that I could produce an accurate 12 Minute Affiliate Review.

Access Denied!

Ok, so no review access.

Then I went and joined the program.

Here is what I found.

I went ahead and bought the program and I was only offered one upsell during checkout.

This surprised me.

I really thought that there would be more upsells.

It was a special report to 3X your results.

I did not buy the upsell, so I can not give you a 12 Minute Affiliate review of the upsell.

Ok now I am going to take you inside of 12 Minute Affiliate.

The first thing you will do after purchasing 12 Minute Affiliate is create an account and then you will have to verify your email before you can login.

Once that is done, you will login and be taken to the Welcome page with a quick start checklist and an offer that seems to good to be true.

So I dove into the quickstart checklist to see for myself how long this will take and how effective is 12 Minute Affiliate.

Step1. Choose which niche to promote

The first step is to choose your niche.

You can choose from three niches to promote.

• Home Business
• Weight Loss
• Personal Development

The big three.

These are very competitive evergreen niches.

But let's keep going.

I chose home business.

I was then taken to step number 2.

2. Setup a Clickbank Account

You are redirected to Clickbank and if you do not have an account, you are prompted to create one.

Quickly thru 2 steps.

3. Get Your Auto-Responder Account

Step 3 is to go set up your autoresponder account at Aweber.

I already have an autoresponder account at GetResponse, so I just clicked done and moved on to the next step.

I should note that you cannot use this system unless you sign up for an Aweber account.

I should also note that there is a box at the bottom that notifies you that once you have your Clickbank account and your Aweber account, you can skip ahead to the "Done For You Setup Option", which is another one of the upsells.

Price: $67 for basic setup

This step is required to claim your free vacation.

4. Setting Up Your Autoresponder

Step three is training on how to setup your Aweber autoresponder and preload the emails provided by 12 Minute Affiliate.

These messages automatically promote your affiliate products.

This is video training and is pretty comprehensive, but in the training, they have you set up the autoresponder with Devon Brown's name in the from section of the emails.

5. Activate Your 12 Minute Affiliate Funnels

Step 5 is to activate your pre-made 12 Minute Affiliate Funnels.

As noted earlier, this only works with an Aweber account.

Here are what some of the funnels look like.

The funnels look pretty good!

6. Get Done For You Traffic

Step 6 is to order done for you traffic.

All you have to is click the button and fill out the form, along with your payment, and send traffic to your funnel!

They don't say where the traffic is coming from.

My guess would be that it is solo ad traffic from Devon Brown's email list.

That's it!

Now we wait for the system to do its magic and start sending traffic through our funnels and over to Clickbank.

Then Clickbank will start sending us checks!

I just feel like my BS meter is on high alert!

Is 12 Minute Affiliate a Scam?

Wikipedia defines a scam as an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their trust.

By that definition, I don't think that 12 Minute Affiliate is a scam.

One of the questions that we have to ask when trying to determine if something is a scam, is whether or not someone can make money with this program.

After joining the program and seeing how it works, I do think you can make money with 12 Minute Affiliate.

That being said, I think there are much better ways to make money online that what is being offered here.

Final Thoughts and Verdict

My focus is on building an online business and teaching people to do the same.

When I start hearing "done for you" and "push button" systems, these are terms that I relate with get rich quick schemes and online scams.

Let's be honest.

There is no easy way.

Building an online business takes hard work and dedication.

Can you make money with 12 Minute Affiliate?

I'm sure you can.

I know Devon Brown makes money with 12 Minute Affiliate and I know his affiliates make money with the program.

There are probably even some members that make some money with 12 minute affiliate.

But you can't build a real sustainable online business with 12 Minute Affiliate.
